B’IOTA Laboratories has been offering effective and long-term solutions to beauty problems since 2002.
The human body is composed of 59 elements, which are also found in the soil. B’IOTA Laboratories creates herbal formulas to aid human health and beauty by using these 59 elements passing from the soil to plants.
B’IOTA Laboratories identifies solution-oriented targets by synthesising Anatolian plants from Turkey into the cutting-edge possibilities of science to reach “natural beauty” and focuses its R&D efforts in this field accordingly. This means perfection can be reached by carefully combining the unlimited benefits of both science and nature.Turkey has one of the richest floras in the world, with about 10,000 plant species of which 3,200 are endemic. Today, as a result of the combination of advanced technology with knowledge accumulated from past to present and due to the use of these plants for human health, B’IOTA Laboratories offers its products to consumers in 30 countries around the world, from Spain to Ireland and the United Arab Emirates to Chile.
B’IOTA made BIOXET into a revolutionary brand both in Turkey and globally. BIOXET was first released onto the market in 2003 and instantly created a new category in the “unwanted facial and body hair” segment in the dermo-cosmetic industry. In 2006, B’IOTA first produced BIOXSINE Shampoo and Serum, which provides herbal solutions to prevent hair loss. The Company became the market leader shortly after the introduction of this product as “the first herbal serum for hair loss.”
B’IOTA gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the dermo-cosmetic field by developing BIOXET and BIOXSINE. The Company obtained great results by mixing formulas of various plant extracts and natural oils during studies into solving skin problems. With these studies, in the second half of 2008, B’IOTA developed products that would appeal to different market segments. The main product series was DERACINE cellulite wrinkle and skin-cleansing products for skin problems. The BIOMEN and BIOBLAS brands, on sale in markets and perfumeries, were also launched in 2008, as well as the BIOXET And BIOXSINE range available in pharmacies. While BIOBLAS, consisting of hair care products for women, ran with the motto “BIOBLAS adds health to your beauty,” BIOMEN’s herbal ingredients, were targeted at men in response to the increasing number of men engaged in personal grooming along with changing living standards.
B’IOTA has been continuing R&D into providing scientific solutions with beneficial herbal ingredients for human health since its inception.B’IOTA manufactures at its own facilities under completely hygienic conditions and according to the rules of the GMP. In addition, B’IOTA is building a new facility in an enclosed area of 30,000 square metres and to establish the world’s third-largest herbal cosmetic research laboratory. The facility is planned for completion in 2 years with an investment of $50 million and will employ 1,000 people.B’IOTA products are tested for efficacy and safety by leading global institutes and universities, following clinical trials carried out in cooperation with Turkey’s own prestigious universities, such as Istanbul University and Anadolu University. One of these world centers is Dermatest, Germany’s leading medical research institution recognised by scientists around the world for its research and studies.B’IOTA products are tested on human volunteers, not animals. This means we can ensure our products are reliable and efficient even for the most sensitive skin types.
B’IOTA products are fully herbal and so we have established the B’IOTA Foundation in order to fulfil our responsibilities to the environment and society more systematically. We are currently building a botanical garden as part of the foundation’s works to prevent the extinction of Turkey’s endemic plants, one of the country’s most valuable treasures. We also offer scholarships to graduate students, support for scientific research and social assistance.
